Definition:
A type of lung cancer in which the cells are small, round and resemble oats. Also called small cell lung cancer.
Oat cell cancer spreads early and is mostly caused by smoking, second or third hand smoke.
Oat cell cancer is named after for the way the cancerous cells appear because they look like oats.
